ICENIC Builders Limited ("ICENIC", "we", "us") is a residential construction company based in Queenstown, New Zealand. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

Information we collect

We collect personal information you give us directly — for example when you enquire about a project, request a consultation, apply for a role, or contact us as a supplier. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, the location of your property or project, and any details you choose to share about your build.

When you visit this website we also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is performing.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare estimates and proposals, manage projects and contracts, assess job applications, meet our obligations to suppliers and subcontractors, comply with legal and health and safety requirements, and improve this website. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We may share information with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, architects and other parties where it is necessary to deliver your project, and with service providers who host our website, email and project management systems. We may also disclose information where required by law. Anyone we share information with is expected to protect it to the same standard we do.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. We will respond within 20 working days. There is no charge for a request in most cases.
